  • 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1 cup green peas
  • 2 tbsp fresh cream
  • water as required
  • 1/2 tbsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp roasted kasoori methi
  • Coriander leaves as required

To make Matar Paneer, first get a pan ready. Keep it on the gas or stove. Once the pan is a little bit hot, put in one spoon of fresh white butter and one spoon of oil.

Heat the butter and oil well. Then, place the cheese in the frying pan. Cook the paneer until it changes color. Once the cheese is cooked until crispy. Put it in the salt water.

Additionally, include 1 tablespoon of cumin, 4 to 5 green cardamom, 4 to 5 cloves, 1 bay leaf, and 3 dry red chillies. Now, you need to cook them on a very low heat. After the food is cooked, mix in half a spoon of turmeric powder, three fourths of a spoon of Kashmiri red chilli, three fourths of a spoon of Degi red chilli powder, and two spoons of coriander powder.

All of these should be cooked on a low heat. Once it’s done cooking, put the paste into it. Cook until it becomes light in color. Remember not to let the spices get too hot and burn.

Once the spices are cooked, add the green peas to it. Also, pour in a cup of water. Put a lid on the pan to cook the peas. Boil the peas for 10 to 15 minutes.

Once the peas are done, put roasted cheese on them. And then sprinkle one spoon of garam masala on top. Also include half a cup of fresh cream. Add the finely chopped cilantro and roasted fenugreek leaves. Cook for a while on low heat. After you finish cooking, make sure to turn off the gas. Cover the pan and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes.
